Dear Cessnas 2 Oshkosh Pilots and Cessna 172 Club Friends:

The 2015 Cessnas 2 Oshkosh season has officially opened and the recruitment drive for our 10th annual mass arrival is underway. Visit our website http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/ for more information and to register to fly the arrival and camp in the North 40 with this great bunch of pilots and friends.

Hey Guys,

Jerry Olson, a Cardinal (C177) flyer and member of Cessnas 2 Oshkosh is challenging us Skyhawk flyers.

He posted this on another forum:

BTW, we have an unofficial contest underway this year. Last year the Cardinals outnumbered all the other Cessna types in the mass arrival, there were 18 Cardinals out of a total of 54 aircraft. smash

I'm sure there are enough 182's and 172's out there to beat this, after all, there were at least ten times the number of 182's built, and probably 20 times the number of 172's built compared to the Cardinals.

So the challenge; are you 182 and 172 drivers out there really going to let us Cardinals do this to you again?

Are we gonna let them Cardinals humilliate us? I don't think so. Let's make 2015 the Year of the Skyhawks 2 Oshkosh.

Spread the word:

Heads up friends in and around Wisconsin!

We have just added the Wisconsin Clinic to our schedule. Jeff Schulz is the host and lead pilot of that clinic and it will take place at Dodge County Airport in Juneau.

Our Florida Clinic concluded successfully today at Venice Municipal Airport. A total of seven pilots participated and completed the flight training required to fly our mass arrival into Oshkosh next July 18th.

Congratulations to the participating pilots on successfully completing the flight training required to fly the mass arrival.

Attention Cessnas 2 Oshkosh Pilots and Cessna 172 Club Friends:

The 2015 AirVenture NOTAM is out.

If you are flying the mass arrival into Oshkosh as a PIC you must familiarize yourself with this document and must have it available in the cockpit during the mass arrival flight and the departure flight from Oshkosh.

The 2015 AirVenture NOTAM is available on our website. Follow this link: www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/NOTAM or copy and paste the text to your browser's address bar.

Guys,
Any Cessna drivers from the Phoenix area planning to head to Oshkosh this year? I'm thinking about it and would enjoy caravaning with others if possible.

I know of at least two Cessnas 2 Oshkosh pilots who are flying to Oshkosh from the Phoenix area. One flies out of Scottsdale Airport and the other out of Falcon Airport.

I'm not at liberty to post their personal information in a public forum but I will drop them a line and if you send me your info by PM or to my Cessnas 2 Oshkosh email address I will send it to them.

You could also join Cessnas 2 Oshkosh and make it to Oshkosh in the most fun and safest possible way and make a lot of good friends in the process.

This link will take you to a map on our website where you can appreciate where our pilots come from. If you click on a marker you can read their information that we are authorized to make public.

Hi Cessnas 2 Oshkosh pilots and Cessna 172 Club friends:

We are officially a GO!!! We are now in possesion of the 2015 Letter of Agreement (LOA) between the FAA and Cessnas 2 Oshkosh, signed by the FAA Oshkosh ATC Air Traffic Manager Elaine Buckner and our own Rodney Swanson.

The LOA describes in detail the procedures of the mass arrival flight and is an obligatory reading for our pilots. It should be treated with the same dilligence afforded to the AirVenture NOTAM and must be carried in the cockpit accessible to the PIC during the mass arrival flight.

To download the 2015 Letter of Agreement (LOA) visit our website at: http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/LOA

Let the countdown begin!!!
