Just want to let everyone in the North East know that Dutchess County Airport, KPOU, has dropped the price of 100LL. I would always double check on their website but over the weekends they have been selling AVGAS for $4.94 a gallon. That's right $4.94 a gallon. Those of us who fly out of POU are spreading the word in an attempt to help out our fellow aviators and to help keep the airport vital. So come to the scenic Hudson Valley and get some cheap gas!

Nice!

Outstanding ! Thanx for the tip.

4.95 a gallon at Ryan Field, west of Tucson. Plus, after filling up, step inside of the restaurant for a great meal!

Still 5.35 here NC at my home field, down the road in Hky its 5.08 self serve.

Best price around San Antonio is Castroville at $4.27. I can get it at Huber Airpark in Seguin for $4.95. A 30 minute flight to Castroville would just wipe out the savings, but would get in a little flying. However, is 43 degrees and raining here now, so probably no flying today. Bummer, I had hoped to get my BFR done today, since it expired on 12/31.

Our city run self serve has been steady at $4.78 all month.

KEVB - New Smyrna Beach, FL

There are even some cheaper ones not so far away at $4.40/gal

Indiana lawmakers dropped all sales tax on aircraft fuel, oil, and services etc. and then promptly imposed an excise tax on all avgas distributors in the state!! No savings...and no sales tax write-off either...Thanks! Instead of a pat on the back how's about a nice-swift-kick-

Full service Avgas @ 05C is 5.19 no self serve here
self serv Mogas @ KPPO is 4.50

If you itemize your Federal income taxes you might be able to deduct the excise tax there.

For those flying through NC, Harnett Regional, HRJ, has 100LL at $4.74 with free coffee and great service to boot.

LOL!

The taxes are on the distributors ...so they rolled into the price which means the end purchaser has no idea how much tax there is in the price and I doubt there is any way to deduct it.

The full service dealers hardly passed any savings on to their customers but I've found considerable savings at the self-serve pumps...kinda curious and there must be "more to it than what meets the eyes".

My accountant assigns a percentage of the overall annual hours of operation to business use for my construction company's operations...so fuel costs are lumped in to a total cost/hr.

I paid $3.49 at my airport yesterday. It has been at that price for a pretty long time.
