Flies over Oceans
Reports say that there were eight people aboard the King Air 350, which took off from Meridia in Yucatán. As the Aircraft approached Galveston in foggy conditions, it lost comms with controllers, who believed it had landed safely at Galveston Scholes International Airport (KGLS). Instead, it had gone into the water short of the runway. Rescuers got two people out alive, and two more are unaccounted for. Four of those aboard were Mexican naval personnel, and one was a two year old girl.
