Wings Over Camarillo | Best Air Show in California

The Wings Over Camarillo Air Show is a 40 year old tradition, perfect for the whole family, and showcases a car show, museum and festival.

Aerobatics and aircraft from decades of flight history. This year’s theme is “Celebrating 90 Years of the DC-3 — A Legend That Changed the World.” includes acar show or the hands-on STEM Pavilion. Gates open at 9 a.m. both days.

Sammy Mason will be flying in the CMA airshow. The FAA is allowing a temporary aerobatic box right above SZP for Sammy to practice, so we’ve been having daily airshows of our own. He posted a cool video of one of his practice flights.

You can also volunteer for some of the jobs at the event (I used to drive the shuttles) and get in free. When we did it, we also got a hat, T-shirt, and food and drink for the day.
