Interesting article. Definitely a slowdown on the hiring. At the local flight school, hear some noise from the kids, not happy that they may have to continue teaching a bit longer before they head off for the regionals.

Although the article does keep a positive spin that this upward trend looks like it will continue for the foreseeable future, for those who've experienced the ups and downs of the industry, the butterflies are still there. Wondering when the next downturn is coming. For the sake of avation, I really do hope the industry can stabilize and reduce the peaks and troughs.

The sales of Cirrus vs 182/Barrons is not surprising. Like the push over the last few years to upgrade avionics to glass and get rid of steam. People want new, not what their grandparents used to fly.
